The first update of WordPress in 2017 was released today, 11th January 2017. Version 4.7.1 is a Security and Maintenance release. If your WordPress installation is managed by RocketWP you don’t need to do anything, your WordPress website(s) will be upgraded by us overnight tonight – just as soon as the backups have completed. Along with any plugin and other updates that have been released in the last 24 hours.
If your site is not managed by RocketWP then you need to login and upgrade as soon as possible. The release is a Security and Maintenance release and has been released to address bugs, performance and security issues withing the WordPress core.
