What we did to the site
We migrated this site to our hosting platform and carried out the following tasks:
- Installed WP-Rocket caching plugin and configured
- Installed Imagify and optimised all the images
- Configured KeyCDN
- Installed and configured a free SSL using Let’s Encrypt
- Installed and configured iThemes Security Pro
- Ensured all plugins and themes were up to date
After Migration and Optimisation
After we had completed the tasks above we tested the site again using GTMetrix. The results are shown below:
As you can see – every metric improved, speed, score, size of the site and the number of requests have all been improved. The improvement will help customer retention and search engine rankings.
